Kristen Hicks, CPA, is a Shareholder in LBMC’s Audit practice with more than 20 years of public accounting experience serving privately and closely held businesses. She brings broad experience across a variety of industries, including construction, services, manufacturing, and not‑for‑profit organizations.
Kristen focuses on audits of financial statements and employee benefit plans, as well as reviews and compilations. She has significant experience supporting companies with complex accounting and reporting issues, helping clients navigate changing standards with clarity and confidence.
As a member of the leadership team for LBMC’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit group, Kristen works with defined contribution and defined benefit plans for organizations ranging from small private companies to publicly traded entities requiring 11‑K filings. She regularly attends national conferences to stay current on benefit plan reporting and regulatory developments, ensuring her clients receive timely, informed guidance.
Kristen joined LBMC through the merger with McWilliams & Co. in 2007 and continues to play an active role in advancing benefit plan audit quality and client service across the firm.
