Kate H. (Katie) Tarr is a Shareholder in the Healthcare Valuation division of LBMC, PC in Nashville. Her practice performs valuation and litigation support services for private and publicly held companies. Katie has more than 10 years of experience in both the corporate and consulting aspects of healthcare. She has extensive financial projection, benchmarking, budgeting, and business development experience. Katie also has experience managing physician contracting for employment, medical director services, call-coverage service, and Graduate Medical Education services, as well as developing commercially reasonable physician compensation models and policies. Katie specializes in Compensation Valuation (CV) services, determining Fair Market Value of physician compensation arrangements. She has extensive experience in valuing employment, call coverage, administrative/Medical Director, and other professional services arrangements. Katie also has experience in the valuation of physician practices and various other types of health care service arrangements, as well as other services including due diligence and clinician compensation consulting.
Katie is on the Advisory Board for Nurses for Newborns. She serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Healthcare and is the Vice President of the East region. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She was named one of Nashville Medical News 2018 “Women to Watch” and the 2019 recipient of The Miller Award issued by Nurses for Newborns of Tennessee.
Prior to joining LBMC, Katie worked at OhioHealth a large not-for-profit healthcare system in Columbus, OH.
